Is there a fee for using .build your future services?

No, our services are completely free. You are never going to be asked to pay for anything.

Do you offer internships in every field?

Yes, we offer internships in the public, private and thirds sectors. EU institutions are excluded, as they cannot be host organisations.

Where do the internships take place? What countries are eligible?

All EU Member States (Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden) are eligible. Eligible non-EU program countries are the Republic of North Macedonia, Liechtenstein, Iceland, Turkey, Norway and Serbia. Internships at organisations based in the United Kingdom continue to be eligible until the end of 2020.

Who pays the interns?

The European Commission offers Erasmus+ Traineeship grants for traineeships. Depending on the living costs of the country where the traineeship takes place, grants vary between 270 and 720 euros a month.

We will give you an estimate of the exact amount of your scholarship during at first meeting.

At the same time, we also encourage organisations to contribute to the intern's salary. They might offer you free public transport tickets or meal vouchers in addition.

What's the duration of the internships?

An internship must be at least 2 months long, while the maximum length is 12 months. In order to secure maximum benefits both for organisations and interns, we recommend a duration of 3 to 6 months.

How is the quality of internships ensured?

Organisations need to ensure that they are offering a high quality internship. We strongly recommend organisations to comply with the European Quality Charter on Internships & Apprenticeships created by the European Youth Forum.
